Driven and inspired by the ‘Grockel’s’ and ‘Emmets’ of the world with the help and support of family and friends who share a love of life and who environmental aware. We offer an exclusive design range from the beach to bar and between. We aim to create a unique holistic brand name which is inspired by the Australian Community. At Grockel Beach Shack you will find an eco-friendly sustainable clothing for all occasions.
All our products are where possible, made in Australia, from the best quality products. Our Cotton ranges, are from organic cottons and our UVA sun suits and swim wears, are made from 100% recycled plastic bottles. So, you will know that you are not only wearing a high-quality product that you can feel proud about wearing.

What is a Grockel?
A Grockel is a derogatory term from Devon England meaning a tourist or a visitor. The locals would often refer to those bloody “Grockel’s”, Whereas, across the river Tamar in Cornwall, they were called ” Emmets”. Both Grockel’s and Emmets refer to anyone not from Devon or Cornwall and otherwise known as an “outsiders!”
Over time the term rolled over the tongues of the Cornish and Devonians drawling accents and the term became beloved by all. “Oh, those bloody Grockel’s”
Our Team
We are a small team, and all design are subject to my daughters scrutiny, which means the designs, ideas and products have to be fun and exciting. We believe we are offering something unique within the designing world of fashion. Our brand “Grockel” will be a mix of both conservative and imaginative clothing and accessories.
